Clinical Nutrition

The Department of Clinical Nutrition Science is one of the departments at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK UNUD). The Department of Clinical Nutrition was formed on June 5, 2020 based on the Decree of the Chancellor of Udayana University Number 671/UN14/HK/2020. The Department of Clinical Nutrition Science FK UNUD which is chaired by Dr. Agustinus I Wayan Harimawan, MPH, Sp.GK (K) has 4 lecturers in it who are in accordance with the qualifications of expertise in the field of clinical nutrition. The Department of Clinical Nutrition Science FK UNUD actively conducts educational activities for Bachelor of Medicine, Professional Doctor, Masters and S3 Study Programs. In its journey, the Department of Clinical Nutrition Science FK UNUD also developed the FK UNUD Clinical Nutrition Specialist Doctor Education Program, which on August 31, 2023 a Field Evaluation of the proposed implementation of the Clinical Nutrition Specialist Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University was carried out by the Directorate of Institutions of the Directorate General of Higher Education Research, and Technology. Lecturer staff of the Department of Clinical Nutrition Science FK UNUD are also active in conducting research activities, especially in the field of clinical nutrition. The excellent research topics carried out are about clinical nutrition services in cancer. In addition, community service activities are also routinely carried out together with other departments at FK UNUD and with the organization of the Bali Branch of the Indonesian Clinical Nutrition Specialist Association (PDGKI).
