Clinical Pathology

The Department of Clinical Pathology is one of the departments at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK UNUD), which actively conducts educational activities for Undergraduate Medical Study Programs, Professional Doctors, Clinical Pathology Specialist Education. The Department of Clinical Pathology is also active in conducting educational activities for the D3 Health Analyst Study Program in collaboration with FK Unud. The Department of Clinical Pathology has 9 divisions, each of which is active in conducting research activities. The nine divisions are Blood Bank and Transfusion Medicine, Hematology, Endocrinology and Metabolism, Immunology, Cardiocerebrovascular, Infection, Nephrology, Hepatogastroenterology, and Oncology. Research activities, both basic and clinical research, are also the main agenda that continues to be developed with innovation and collaboration with various institutions. Featured research topics include Blood Bank and Transfusion Medicine, Hematology. In addition, community service activities are also routinely carried out together with other departments at FK UNUD and with other organizations such as the Association of Indonesian Clinical Pathology Specialists (PDS Patklin) Denpasar Branch.
