Psychiatry

The Department of Psychiatry / Mental Medicine is one of the Departments at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK UNUD), which was previously named the Mental Health Science Section. The Department of Psychiatry FK UNUD actively conducts educational activities for Bachelor of Medicine, Professional Doctor, and Specialist in Mental Medicine Study Programs. The Department of Psychiatry has 11 divisions, each of which is actively carrying out service, education, community service and research activities. The names of the divisions are; Biologic Division, Addiction Division, Forensic Division, CLP-Palliative Division, Psychotherapy Division, Geriatric Division, Child and Adolescent Division, Social / Community Division, Cultural Division, Neuropsychiatry Division, and Elective Division. The division is the flagship of the Department of Psychiatry. Research activities, both basic and clinical research, are also the main agenda that continues to be developed with innovation and collaboration with both domestic and foreign institutions. In addition, community service activities are also routinely carried out together with other departments at FK UNUD as well as with the organization of the Denpasar Branch of the Association of Mental Medicine Specialists (PDSKJI) and the Bali Association of Mental Medicine Specialists (PDSKJI).
