The Specialist Study Program of Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, held Continuing Medical Education (PKB) Pulmonary VII in 2025 with the theme "Pulmonary and Respiratory Challenges due to Global Climate Changes". This activity lasted for 2 days, namely July 5 and 6, 2025, which took place at the Aston Denpasar Hotel.


The event began with a report by the Chairperson of the Committee, dr. Pande Budi Wadanta Sp.P., then remarks from the Deputy Director of Medical and Nursing of Prof. IGNG Hospital. Ngoerah, dr. I Made Darmajaya, Sp.BA., Subsp.D.A (K)., MARS. and was officially opened by the Deputy Dean for Academic and Planning of the Faculty of Medicine Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT (K). In his remarks, Dr. Eka appreciated the Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine Study Program for holding this activity routinely. Through this event, he also expressed his hope that all participants who attended could use this opportunity as best they could to increase their knowledge so that it can be applied in everyday life so that they can apply the latest knowledge in patient management in daily practice.


This activity consisted of 8 symposiums and presented 16 speakers including one guest speaker from Brawijaya University, namely Dr. dr. Susanthy Djajalaksana, Sp.P(K) FISR FAPSR. All participants followed the activity enthusiastically until the end of the event.


The activity was closed with the announcement of the winners of the photo competition, the best questioner, and the drawing of door prizes.


This event was also attended by the Coordinator of the Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine Specialist Study Program, the Head of the Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine Department, all staff and PPDS Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine, and 119 participants from all over Indonesia, including Bali, DKI Jakarta, Bangka Belitung, and Papua.
