Improve Competence in the Field of Travel Medicine, FK Unud Invites Resource Persons from New Zealand

In order to improve the competence of lecturers in the field of Travel Medicine, the Undergraduate Medical and Professional Doctor Study Program in collaboration with the Travel Medicine Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held a hybrid guest lecture with the main location point located in the Prof. dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah Room, Faculty of Medicine Building, Udayana University, Denpasar. (27/3/2024)


Followed by the Coordinator of Undergraduate Medical Study Program, dr. I Wayan Sumardika, S.Ked., M.Med.Ed., Ph.D., Coordinator of Travel Medicine Unit, Dr. dr. Made Agus Hendrayana, S.Ked., M.Ked., lecturers, specialist program students and undergraduate students who attended offline and online, this guest lecture presented Dr. Jenny Visser, B.Sc, MB.ChB, MTravMed, PGCertGP, FRNZCGP, from the University of Otago, New Zealand as a guest speaker who presented a topic on "Travel Medicine and Pre-travel Consultation".


The event was opened by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information of FK Unud, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH, Ph.D who in his speech expressed his gratitude to Dr. Jenny for sharing her knowledge and experience in the field of travel medicine and hoped that the knowledge provided would be able to expand the knowledge and increase the competence of the participants present, especially in the field of travel medicine.


The activity was very interactive with the moderator, Dr. Wayan Citra Wulan Sucipta Putri, S.Ked., MPH, leading the discussion between the participants and the speakers.
