The 34th Special Training for the Janar Dūta Medical Assistance Team, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, 2026

The Janar Dūta Medical Assistance Team, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, once again held the 34th Pre-Special Training (Pralatsus) and Special Training (Latsus) as part of the advanced cadre development phase for prospective members of the 35th class. This activity serves as a crucial momentum in developing competent, resilient prospective members who are ready to fulfill their roles as part of a professional medical assistance team. The training took place in Sawangan Village, Benoa Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali, on Friday, January 30, 2026.

With the theme "Guiding the Rise of a Resilient Generation, Strengthened by Adaptability to Grow, to Serve, and to Stand Prepared for Every Challenge," the 34th Pralatsus and Latsus series of activities were designed to deepen participants' skills in medical emergencies, environmental awareness, physical fitness, mental health, and character.

The series of activities began with a material presentation forum and clinical training held at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. During the Pralatsus (Special Training) phase, prospective members were provided with various materials and simulations, ranging from field management, rigging, tent and clothesline construction, Explorer Search and Rescue (ESAR), ascending and descending, to Basic Life Support (BLS) simulations such as primary surveys, emergency case handling, Applied Case Studies (ACS), P3M, disaster management, and evacuation techniques. The entire series also included physical, mental, and character training to develop the participants' overall resilience.

The culmination of the activities was the 34th Special Training (Latsus), which lasted for three days. Prospective members faced various challenges in the medical, natural, and physical fields to evaluate their abilities and demonstrate their readiness. Latsus is a crucial step for prospective members in achieving their Member Identification Number (NIA) before being inaugurated as Junior Members (AM) of the Janar Dūta Community Service Center (TBM) Class XXXV. The 35th batch of young members of the Janar Duta Community College were inaugurated by the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. I Made Muliarta, M.Kes.

More than just technical training, the 34th Pralatsus and Latsus activities also served as a forum for fostering the values ​​of togetherness, solidarity, and a sense of community among prospective members and the entire Janar Duta Community College family. Through these activities, it is hoped that a new generation of Janar Duta Community College members will emerge who are adaptive, possess integrity, and are ready to provide the best possible service in the field of medical emergencies.
