The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Holds International Training and Certification for Lead Implementers of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Laboratory Standards
The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud), in collaboration with PT Padma Global Nusatama, held a Training and Certification program for Lead Implementers of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Laboratory Standards. This training took place at the Cakra Vidya Usadha Building on October 15-17, 2025.
This program aims to improve the competency of laboratory personnel in academic and professional settings so they can implement a laboratory quality management system based on SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017, as well as prepare Integrated Biomedical Laboratory services and other testing laboratories within Udayana University and outside of Udayana University to participate in certification and accreditation of testing laboratories from the National Accreditation Committee (KAN).
The training featured Indira Permana, S.P., M.P., an expert from PT Padma Global Nusatama, who comprehensively presented the implementation of laboratory quality management standards and the urgency of ISO/IEC accreditation for research and academic institutions.
The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT (K), Subsp. Onk. Ort. (K). In his remarks, he expressed his appreciation to PT Padma Global Nusatama for the collaboration initiated with the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, in organizing human resource training, which supports the improvement of human resource quality and strengthens opportunities for developing income-generating laboratory services at the Faculty.
The training also included participants from the Udayana University Integrated Laboratory Team, the Faculty of Engineering's Structure and Materials Laboratory, the Faculty of Agricultural Technology's Food Analysis Laboratory, the Bali Provincial Public Works and Housing Agency's (DISPUPRKIM) Testing Laboratory, the University of North Sumatra's Testing Laboratory, and CV Sejati Marine Perkasa.
