The Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University Graduates Six New Orthopedic and Traumatology Specialists
The Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, held a Thanksgiving and Orthopedic and Traumatology Specialist Brevet Ceremony on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the Orthopedic and Traumatology Student Association (KSM Orthopedic and Traumatology), Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah General Hospital, Denpasar, Bali.
This event was held to celebrate the graduation of six new Orthopedic and Traumatology Specialists:
1. Dr. I Ketut Gede Arya Surya Pranata, Sp.OT.
2. Dr. Putu Angga Dharmayuda, Sp.OT.
3. Dr. Cokorda Gde Rama Adi Pranata, Sp.OT.
4. Dr. Jemie Rudyan, Sp.OT.
5. Dr. I Gede Mahardika, Sp.OT.
6. Dr. Bobtriyan Tanamas, Sp.OT.
The event began with a graduate report and remarks by the Coordinator of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, represented by the Study Program Secretary, Dr. Komang Septian Sandiwidayat, M.Biomed, Sp.OT. The event continued with remarks from the Head of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, I Wayan Suryanto Dusak, Sp.OT(K). This was followed by remarks by the President Director of Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah General Hospital, Denpasar, Dr. I Wayan Sudana, M.Kes., and continued with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, represented on this occasion by the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes. Furthermore, remarks from one of the Founding Fathers of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Siki Kawiyana, Sp.B., Sp.OT(K).
The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, represented by the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes., in his remarks. He congratulated the newly graduated medical specialists and expressed his gratitude for the smooth running of the entire learning process.
"This success represents an important milestone for the Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, and reflects the commitment of the educators to assist students until they graduate on time, in accordance with the applicable curriculum. We hope that the graduates will make a real contribution to the equitable distribution of Orthopedics and Traumatology services in various regions of Indonesia, applying their knowledge responsibly, upholding ethics and professionalism, and continuing to uphold the reputation of their alma mater through proud achievements," said Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes.
This activity was also attended by the Director of Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah General Hospital, Study Program Coordinators, Department Heads, lecturers, and teaching staff at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University and Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah General Hospital, as well as the families of the graduates and all residents of the Orthopedic and Traumatology Specialist Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
UDAYANA UNIVERSITY
