Udayana University's Faculty of Medicine Student Representative Council (DPM FK Unud) Successfully Holds 2026 Plenary Session as a Strategic Step in Determining the Direction of the Student Organization

The Student Representative Council (DPM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, held a Plenary Session on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in the Prof. Dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah Room, 4th Floor, FK Unud Building, Sudirman Campus.

The Plenary Session is an official forum within the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. Through this activity, the DPM carries out its legislative function as a forum to discuss, formulate, and establish regulations and rules that will form the basis for implementing student activities for the next year. This activity involved student representatives from various organizations and classes, as a form of active participation in an inclusive and democratic decision-making process.

The event began with remarks by the DPM Advisor, Ns. I Wayan Gede Saraswasta, S.Kep., M.Kep., expressed his hope that the outcomes of the Plenary Session would be implemented consistently and responsibly. He also emphasized the importance of effective communication between student organizations and upholding the value of professionalism in every work program.

Following remarks from the DPM Advisor, the event continued with remarks by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., who emphasized the importance of students' role in maintaining the organization's direction and aligning it with the faculty's vision and mission. He also emphasized that the Plenary Session is not only a formal forum but also a strategic space to practice leadership, critical thinking skills, and responsible decision-making. He also commended the collaborative spirit demonstrated by all student groups in making this event a success.

This forum is expected to foster a mutual agreement that not only aligns with university guidelines but also addresses the needs and dynamics of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. The results of this Plenary Session will serve as the foundation for implementing various student organization work programs going forward.
