BEM FK Unud Provides Education on Self-Protection from Disasters to SLB Students

The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University organizes a community development program, namely Intervention 1 MAGIC (Make a Change With Special Needs Children) at the Special School (SLB) Negeri 3 Denpasar. (30/3/2024)

This activity aims to fulfill the rights of extraordinary children in protecting themselves when a disaster occurs. Not only that, this program also provides an opportunity for parents of extraordinary students to gain knowledge regarding children's psychological balance and nutritional needs. Intervention 1 is just one of many series of events that MAGIC CIMSA Unud will carry out over the next few months.

This activity was opened by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Prof. Dr. I Md Ady Wirawan, MPH, Ph.D and also attended by Ade Maya Amyana, S.Pd, M. Pd as Principal of SLBN 3 Denpasar, and dr. Made Satria Yudha Dewangga, M. Biomed, Sp. JP. K.Ped.P.J.B(K), FIHA, FASCC as supervisor of CIMSA Udayana University. On this occasion a talk show was also held with two (2) speakers, namely:

1. dr. I Gusti Ayu Indah Ardani, Sp.KJ(K) - Finding the Psychological Balance of Parents Caring for Children with Special Needs

2. ⁠Dr. Kadek Tresna Adhi S. KM. M. Kes - Nutrition for Optimal Growth and Development of Children

Learning activities in classrooms with extraordinary children are facilitated by showing educational videos created by @doktersains.id as Media Partner of MAGIC CIMSA Unud which can be watched on Instagram @cimsaunud.
