Dean's Visit to the Department of Surgery, FK Udayana
On Thursday, March 28, 2019, the Department of Surgery received a visit from the dean of the medical faculty of Udayana University. In the afternoon at 14.00 WITA the group led by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. I Ketut Suyasa, Sp.B, SP.OT (K) arrived at the KSM General Surgery meeting room, Sanglah Hospital Denpasar, was greeted by the Head of KSM Surgery, Dr. dr. I Nyoman Semadi, Sp.B, Sp.BTKV, officials, all surgical specialists as supervisors, and surgical PPDS students and young doctors. The event was also attended by the Director of Medical Services at Sanglah Hospital, Dr. dr. Ketut Sudartana, Sp.B-KBD.
The purpose of this visit is to see and evaluate the educational process that takes place in the surgical department. The event started with a prayer together, and continued with a report from Dr. dr. I Nyoman Semadi, Sp.B-KBD as the Head of KSM explained the latest information on the development of the surgical department starting from the opening of the newly opened study program, namely the neurosurgery study program, hospital accreditation plans, to projects and plans for developing the surgical department to front. This report also describes the problems as well as suggestions and requests to the dean of FK Udayana to immediately get improvements and solutions so that the Department of Surgery becomes even better. After the report was completed, the event continued with a report and information presentation from the dean led by Dr. dr. I Ketut Suyasa, Sp.B, Sp.OT (K). Reports are responded to and discussed in a family manner with officials and surgeons.
This meeting between the team of deans of the Udayana Faculty of Medicine and the Department of Surgery shows the importance of the cooperation of every personnel to advance the quality of education and graduates of the Udayana Faculty of Medicine. Our thanks go to Dr. dr. I Ketut Suyasa, Sp.B, Sp.OT (K) has taken the time to listen to our aspirations and opinions. Thank you also for your attention and constructive suggestions for the Department of Surgery.
