Dentistry Undergraduate Study Program Accreditation

The Bachelor of Dentistry and Professional Dentistry Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Unud was visited by the LAM-PTKes Assessor Team in the context of Reaccreditation of Study Programs, Tuesday (6/8/2019). The Assessor Team consisting of Prof. Dr. drg. Sri Oktawati, Sp. Perio (K), drg. Erwan Sugiatno, Sp.Pros (K), Ph.D and Dr. drg. Indah Listiana Kriswandini, M.Kes was received by the Chancellor of Unud Prof. AA Raka Sudewi was accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Coorprodi and Director of the Unud Hospital in the Meeting Room of the Jimbaran Unud Hospital Building. Also present on the occasion were Head of LP3M, Deputy Deans of Faculties, Coordi- ties and Heads of Departments within the Faculty of Medicine, Representatives of UPT Libraries, Representatives of USDI, Representatives of Sanglah Hospital, Representatives of Network Health Centers, students and stakeholders.
The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. I Ketut Suyasa said that in order to meet the educational service needs of the Study Program, various efforts have been made to improve the quality to get the best value. This is highly expected by students so that when students graduate, the Study Program is maximally accredited. For this reason, the faculty leadership continues to monitor the preparations that have been made and provide support, so that its development is very rapid. In addition, it also has the support of the University Leaders to make the Study Program accredited in producing quality graduates.

While the Chancellor of Unud Prof. AA Raka Sudewi said that accreditation is an important thing for Study Programs which has strategic meaning and reflects that the study program has implemented higher education standards. The Chancellor hopes that the Dentistry Study Program and the Dentist Profession can achieve accreditation according to the preparations that have been made considering that the Study Program is very creative and actively prepares it. University leaders always support Study Programs to achieve the best accreditation. The implementation of this study program accreditation is also very much supported by the Unud Hospital which has also received the support of the Badung Regency Government to provide services for the community. The Chancellor also hopes that the Assessor Team will provide the opportunity for Study Programs to complete if there is missing data on the form.
