Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University Holds Workshop on Curriculum Alignment of Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 53 of 2023


The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, through the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Unit (UP3M) held a Curriculum Alignment Workshop in accordance with Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 53 of 2023 which took place in the Prof. Meeting Room. Dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah. The aim of holding this workshop is to align the curriculum according to Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 53 of 2023 and implement outcome based education through process documentation with portfolios. Participants in this workshop were study program coordinators and two lecturer representatives from each study program within the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. This event was attended by the Coordinator of the Development, Learning and Quality Assurance Unit (UP3M) dr. I Made Winarsa Ruma, Ph.D and Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning Dr. Dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K) who also opened the event. In his speech he expressed his thanks to the UP3M Unit Coordinator who had organized a curriculum alignment workshop in accordance with Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 53 of 2023 which will come into effect in September 2024.

"If the curriculum is not aligned, many things will happen during the course of study that can be detrimental to students. "We hope that in the future all study programs will develop a curriculum in accordance with Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 53 of 2023 so that they can produce the expected quality," added Dr. Eka.


This workshop was held for two (2) days from 4 to 5 July 2024 by presenting two (2) resource persons, namely:

1. Prof. Diantha Soemantri, MD., MMedEd., Ph.D., from the Department of Medical Education

Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, with material on Curriculum Alignment with Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 53 of 2023

2. Drg. Nadia Greviana, MPd.Ked., from the Department of Medical Education, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, with material on Curriculum Alignment with Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 53 of 2023

With Moderator Ns. I Kadek Saputra, S.Kep., M.Erg.


The workshop continued with a discussion session for each study program regarding learning outcomes, learning and assessment methods as well as feedback from resource persons on the curriculum of the study program representatives.
