FK Unud Delegation Successfully Wins 2 AESCULAPIUS 2024 Competition Branches

Students from the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) again won awards at the 2024 "Atma Jaya United Scholar Competition and Annual Congress (AESCULAPIUS)" held by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (FKIK UAJ) from 17 to d April 20, 2024.

In this event, students from FK Unud who were delegates from Udayana University succeeded in winning 2 branches of the 2024 AESCULAPIUS competition, namely 1st place in Literature Review and 2nd place in Scientific Essay under the guidance of Dr. Dr. Urged Made Wihandani, M.Kes. The team that won 1st place in Literature Review consisted of Made Dwinanda Prabawa Mahardana and Christo Timothy Mamangdean (Undergraduate Medical Study Program). Meanwhile, the team that won 2nd place in the 2024 AESCULAPIUS Scientific Essay consisted of Ni Putu Rista Pradnya Dewi and I Komang Chandra Yogananda (Bachelor of Medicine Study Program).

Atma Cordis Ilmiah "Atma Jaya United Scholar Competition and Annual Congress (AESCULAPIUS)" 2024 is an event that can unite and bring closer students from the faculties of health sciences, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, electromedical engineering, MIPA. This activity will bring together students from various different backgrounds, where each of them will show creativity, skills, quality and originality with the aim of broadening their knowledge in the world of health with the hope that participants can discover and learn new things through determined competition theme. With the theme "Comorbidities of Diabetes Mellitus: The Endeavors Taken Against This Looming Public Health Crisis", the 2024 Atma Cordis Scientific event "AESCULAPIUS" will move and be rooted in chronic metabolic disease which is one of the diseases with a very high prevalence on a global scale.

It was attended by 234 participants from universities in Indonesia with 110 participants qualifying as finalists and coming directly to the AESCULAPIUS 2024 event which was held at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Atma Jaya University in Jakarta.
