Prof. Gregory G. Maskarinec, Ph. D from the Department of Native Hawaiian Health and Family Medicine, John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawai'i, brought the topic ; The Importance of Social Justice in Global Health

and Prof. Gertraud Maskarinec, MD, Ph.D from the University of Hawai'i Cancer Center brought the topic: Nutritional Risk Factors and Obesity as Predictors for Diabetes and Cancer in a Multiethnic Population
