Integrated Community Service in Tista Tourism Village, Kerambitan-Tabanan, Bali

Community service as a direct application of nursing science to the community. The team of lecturers of the Undergraduate Nursing and Nursing Profession Program at Udayana University consisting of Indah Mei Rahajeng, S.Kep,.Ners,.MSc, Ns. Kadek Cahya Utami, S. Kep,. M. Kep, Ns. Putu Emy Darma Yanti, S.Kep., M.Kep held an integrated community service at Tista Tourism Village, Kerambitan Tabanan Bali. Community service in Tista Village includes counseling, education and training activities for health cadres and village officials. Community service activities carry three themes, namely stunting prevention, first aid in accidents and also empowering cadres to become waste bank agents. Increasing public understanding and awareness to prevent stunting is expected to support government programs to reduce stunting rates. Demonstration of first aid in accidents is expected to prevent serious injury due to initial mishandling. Meanwhile, topics related to waste management and the establishment of waste bank agents were given by the PSSKPN team in collaboration with the Bali Lestari Foundation. This topic supports the government's efforts to make Bali greener and solve problems related to waste in Bali. Tisata village is a tourist village which is one of the villages supported by its management and development into a tourist village by Udayana University, for that Tista village is a place of community service by PSSKPN which also has a tourism nursing specialty.
