Seminar on Early Detection of Barriers to Child Development and Optimally Developing Children's Potential

This activity is a community service activity, which is a form of Tri Dharma College from the Psychology Study Program which is motivated by a phenomenon that occurs in society, namely the lack of public knowledge about child development, especially how to develop children's potential so that they can grow and develop optimally.
This activity aims to introduce to the general public about developmental barriers in children so that parents, teachers, or other related parties can take appropriate action in overcoming developmental problems in children. In addition, this activity aims to raise awareness and awareness for the general public, especially for parents and teachers to explore the potential of children so as to facilitate children to achieve optimal development.
This activity is carried out in the form of a seminar consisting of material presentation from keynote speakers and resource persons who are experts in their fields. The keynote speaker or keynote speaker is the Chair of the Bali Province PKK Mobilization Team, Mrs. Ni Putu Putri Suastini Koster. Other speakers are Dr. dr. Anak Ayu Sri Wahyuni, Sp.KJ from SMF Psychiatry, FK UNUD, Dr. I Made Rustika, M.Si from the Department of Psychology, Medical Faculty UNUD, and Mr. Wiwin Kanoraituha are parents of children with special needs. The activity was opened by the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance of FK UNUD, namely Dr. dr. Anak Agung Wiradewi Lestari, Sp.PK.
This activity received a good response from the public, as evidenced by the enthusiasm for registering, even until registration was closed, there were still those who wanted to register as participants. The number of participants in this activity was 150 people who came from various circles, especially parents, Inclusive Kindergarten and Elementary School teachers, the Bali Province PKK Mobilization Team, government agencies, students, practitioners.
This activity is expected to be the initiation of the emergence of similar activities so that together they can be part of the optimal development of children which is part of the progress of the nation. In accordance with the motto of this activity, We Care, We Learn, They Shine. We care, then we learn so that they can grow optimally.
