The highlight of World No Tobacco Day 2023


The Special Division of the Student Community Concerned about the Hazards of Tobacco, the Public Health Student Association, held the peak activity of celebrating World No Tobacco Day 2023 with the theme “Prevent The Harmful Impact From Tobacco with DK KMPT: Reduce Tobacco Use, Support The Production of Nutritious Food for Better Health In The Future “ and was held offline in the Meeting Room of A. A. Made Djelantik Udayana University Medical Faculty Building, Denpasar.

The event was attended and officially opened by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, dr. Putu Ayu Swandewi Astuti, S.Ked, MPH., Ph.D. and was also attended by the Supervisor of DK KMPT, Dr. Made Kerta Duana, S.KM., MPH., Head of BEM FK Udayana University, represented by sister Ni Luh Putu Chintya Pradnya Paramitha, Chair of HMKM, Chair of BEM 13 Faculty of Udayana University, and other external parties.


After it was officially opened, the next event was the handing over of the KTR signboards symbolically to representatives of 13 faculties at Udayana University.


After the submission of the KTR signboard, the next event was a Panel Discussion with the theme "Be A Role Model: Create A Smoke Free Campus Start It From Yourself". At the end of the panel discussion, it was followed by a question and answer session where the participants who attended the panel discussion actively asked the speakers.


The panel discussion ended, followed by reading the voting mechanism for the Favorite Wall Magazine and voting for the Favorite Wall Magazine work. The next event was an entertainment program for solo singing performances and the Limas Theatre. After the entertainment program, it was followed by the announcement of the winners of the 2023 World No Tobacco Day Competition, the awarding of prizes to the winners of the competition, a documentation session, and a message impression session from the winners. The last event was the closing of the 2023 World No Tobacco Day Peak activities.
