The 2019 Udayana Dentistry Scientific Competition activity was opened by the Deputy Dean I of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. I Dewa Made Sukrama, M.Si, SpMK (K). This activity was attended by the Deputy Dean I for Academic Affairs and Planning, Coordi- nary of Study Programs, and several invitees from student organizations within the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. The objectives of this activity are as follows:

General purpose

1. Realizing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely Education, Research, and Community Service, especially Education, by holding a competition between dental students.

2. Introducing the Bachelor of Dentistry and Dentistry Profession Program at the National Kancal

Special purpose

1. Improving the knowledge of dental students regarding innovations in the field of dentistry.

2. Improving the abilities and skills of dental students.

3. Preparing dental students to be able to compete in the national arena.

4. Become a means to hone the skills and knowledge of dental students throughout Indonesia
