Udayana University Medical Science Doctoral Study Program Show Tips and Strategies to Take the Doctoral Program

There was something interesting on Saturday morning, June 17 2023. In order to increase interest and also refreshment in pursuing doctoral studies, the Doctoral Study Program in Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held a National Seminar with the theme "Tips and Strategies for Taking the Doctoral Program" in a hybrid manner from Prof. . dr. I. G. N. G. Ngoerah, Faculty of Medicine Building, Jalan PB Sudirman, Denpasar.(17/06/2023)

This national seminar was attended by selective participants, namely 36 people who attended directly offline and 154 other participants who attended online from other interested parties, ranging from students, researchers, to lecturers.

On this occasion, presenting two speakers who are very competent in their fields, namely Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suastika, Sp.PD-KEMD and Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Jawi, M. Kes. The moderator who accompanied the speakers was dr. Kadek Fajar Marta, Biomed, Sp.OG (K) and dr. I Made Darmajaya, Sp.B, Sp.BA (K), MARS.

The event began with remarks from the Coordinator of the Doctor of Medicine Study Program, Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Jawi, M. Kes. Then the remarks and at the same time the opening of the event by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. I Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes. In his remarks he conveyed the need to set a time strategy, self-conditions, while still paying attention to the rules that apply.

In the first session, material was presented entitled "The Right Strategy to Translucent Scopus Journals" and the second session entitled "Paste the Doctoral Study Program in Medical Sciences with Two Curriculums". Previously also presented about medical ethics by Dr. dr. Made Agus Hendrayana, M.Ked, representing the Denpasar Branch of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI), considering that most of the participants were doctors.

At the end of the event, the Chairman of the Committee, dr. Gede Eka Rusdi Antara, Sp.B.Subsp.Dig (K), MARS, M.H, FICS, FINACS said that the event went well, and hoped that the seminar, which was supported by doctoral students from Class of 2022 in Medical Sciences, could help provide an overview of studies in S3 and Facilitate the process of publication of scientific papers at the international level.
