Master of Sports Physiology Study Program Holds Guest Lecture Series 2025 with Speakers from Universiti Malaya.

Master of Sports Physiology Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) held a Guest Lecture with speakers from Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. Raising the topic "Muscle-Centric Homeostatic Physiology", this event was held in the Prof. dr. IGNG Ngoerah Room, FK Unud Building, Denpasar (16/4/2025).

This activity presented renowned speakers in the field of Physiology, namely Professor Cheng Hwee Ming, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia with moderator Lecturer of Master of Physiology, FK Unud, Dr. dr. I Putu Adiartha Griadhi, M.Fis.

Officially opened by the Coordinator of the Master of Sports Physiology Study Program, FK Unud, Dr. dr. Luh Putu Ratna Sundari, M.Biomed, on this occasion dr. Ratna Sundari expressed her appreciation for the opportunity for international collaboration and hoped that this activity could broaden the horizons of students and lecturers about Muscle-centered Homeostatic Physiology and strengthen academic relations between FK Unud and global institutions.

Attended by teaching staff and Masters students of Sports Physiology, on this occasion Professor Cheng Hwee Ming presented material with the theme of Muscle centric homeostatic physiology which includes skeletal muscle physiology, myokinesis and exercise, in addition to the presentation of theoretical concepts, Prof. Cheng also conveyed the history and application of the topics raised so that participants were more interested. The event took place from 09.00 WITA to 11.00 WITA. Prof. Cheng also involved 8 students to present narrative dialogues that had been prepared in advance. The discussion was conducive and participants seemed enthusiastic to be involved in the discussion.
