Plan to Establish a Faculty of Medicine, Undiknas Visits FK Unud
In the framework of the plan to establish a Faculty of Medicine at the National Education University (Undiknas), the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University (FK Unud) received a visit from the National Education University, which took place in the Dean's Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, FK Unud Building, Denpasar. (16/5/25)
The team from Undiknas was present, led directly by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Development, Research and Community Service Dr. Ni Wayan Widhiasthini, S.Sos, M.Si., Vice Chancellor for Human Resources and Finance., Dr. Anak Agung Ayu Ngurah Sri Rahayu Gorda, S.H., M.M., M.H., CCD., C.Med., and the team. The group was welcomed by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning Affairs of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT (K).
In his remarks, Dr. Eka expressed his appreciation for trusting the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University as a place for visits and consultations regarding the laboratory, which was continued with a presentation regarding the preparations that must be made to establish the Faculty of Medicine.
"In establishing the Faculty of Medicine, it must have a laboratory that meets Dikti standards, adequate human resources and supporting facilities and infrastructure.
Hopefully with the addition of the Faculty of Medicine, in the future it can provide health services to the Indonesian people and support government programs in meeting the needs of doctors in Indonesia, especially in eastern Indonesia." He said.
Motivated by the Coordinator of the Business Unit Dr. dra. Ida Ayu Alit Widhiartini, Apt., M.Sc., the event continued with presentations from two speakers, namely:
1. Coordinator of the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Unit, FK Unud, dr. I Made Winarsa Ruma, Ph.D with the material Implementation of Quality in the Establishment of a New Medical Study Program
2. Coordinator of the Undergraduate Medical Study Program, dr. I Wayan Sumardika, S.Ked., M.Med.Ed., Ph.D with the material Design, Planning, Implementation, Curriculum Structure and Mapping of Medical Education Curriculum.
After the discussion session, the event continued with a visit to three laboratories in the Faculty of Medicine, namely: Computer Based Test (CBT) Lab., Anatomy Lab and Skill Lab.
