SWOT Workshop for the Preparation of RENSTRA 2025-2029
The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, through the Undergraduate Medical Program and the Doctor of Medicine Study Program held a SWOT Preparation Workshop for the Undergraduate Medical Program and the Doctor of Medicine Study Program and the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University as a basis for the preparation of the Strategic Plan (RENSTRA) for 2025-2029 which took place at Jimbar Ballroom 2, Sanur Resort Watujimbar, Sanur, Bali on December 13-14, 2024.
The event began with remarks from the chairman of the committee, dr. I Gusti Made Gde Surya Chandra Trapika, S.Ked., M.Sc., Ph.D., followed by remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes. In his speech, he expressed his gratitude to the two speakers who had taken the time to share their knowledge and experience where with the end of the RENSTRA for the Undergraduate Medical and Doctoral Profession Study Programs in 2024, the process of preparing the next RENSTRA which is a medium-term plan for 2025-2029 requires input from internal and external parties, namely users of graduates and alumni to find out the current needs of society. RENSTRA is a very vital component because it will be a reference for the medium-term plan in planning activities according to the medium-term targets determined in the RENSTRA. The hope for the future is that with the holding of this workshop, the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, which is 62 years old, can improve the quality of learning and graduates produced.
This SWOT preparation workshop was divided into two sessions, where the first session was the presentation of material by two speakers, namely:
1. dr. Ketut Satrya Wibawa., from Pentha Medika with the material Challenges and Opportunities for Developing Travel Medicine Services
2. Prof. Dr. dr. Budi Santosa, Sp.OG (K) who is the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University and also the Chairperson of AIPKI Indonesia with the material Challenges and Opportunities for Medical Education Institutions in the next five years.
Moderated by dr. Pande Made Wisnu Tirtayasa, Sp.U(K)., PH.D.
The second session was continued with a group discussion to receive input from graduate users, students and alumni as a basis for compiling the 2025-2029 RENSTRA.
