2021 National Seminar on Cancer Concerned Student Community

The Cancer Care Student Community (Kompak) FK Unud held a National Seminar (Semnas) 2021. The activity was carried out online, taking the theme "Journey of Cancer Survivor during the Covid-19 Pandemic". This activity aims to provide information and understanding about the issue of cancer and its relation to psychological conditions in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 2021 Kompak National Seminar was attended and opened directly by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, S.Ked., Sp.OT(K). He gave appreciation to the supervisors of Kompak for carrying out this activity. "Currently, cancer is a case with a high prevalence in Indonesia and needs more attention. With this activity, hopefully we can increase our knowledge and contribute knowledge so that it can reduce the death rate in this pandemic era."

This event was attended by Kompak supervisor Prof. Dr. dr. IB Tjakra Wibawa Manuaba, MPH, Sp.B(K)Onk, FINACS., FICS and Dr. dr. I Wayan Sudarsa, Sp.B (K) Onk. dr. Sudarsa who expressed his appreciation to Kompak who has continuously carried out activities from the beginning until now. "The Covid-19 pandemic is very dangerous and very vulnerable to infecting cancer patients. So we have to pay attention to cancer patients."

Also present were representatives from the BEM FK UNUD, represented by the Deputy Chair of the BEM for the 2022/2023 period, I Komang Trisna Angga Pradipta and the Chair of the BSO Student Community Care for Cancer, which this time was represented by Putri Tamia Desriyanti.

The National Seminar presents two materials including:

"Take Steps To Vaccinate as a Cancer Survivor" by dr. Jeffry Beta Tenggara, Sp.PD-KHOM, and "Maintaning Mental Health for Cancer Survivors During the Covid-19 Pandemic" by Ni Made Ari Wiliani, S.Psi., M.Psi.

This activity took place in an orderly and smooth manner and ended with an evaluation of the 2021 Compact Core National Seminar.
