5th Asia Pacific Nutrigenomics Nutrigenetics Organisation (APNNO) Biennial Conference 2024 & 14th Asia – Pacific Conference on Clinical Nutrion

The 5th Asia Pacific Nutrigenomics Nutrigenetics Organisation (APNNO) Biennial Conference 2024 & 14th Asia – Pacific Conference on Clinical Nutrion is a collaboration between APNNO and the Department of Biochemistry and the Clinical Nutrition Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University/Prof. Ngoerah Hospital, which was held at Prama Beach Hotel Sanur Bali on Friday to Saturday, December 6-7, 2024.

This event was attended by 278 participants from various fields including specialist doctors, clinical nutrition residents and general practitioners from Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Australia, Thailand, Taiwan and the UK. The program consisted of 19 symposia with 64 domestic and foreign speakers as well as oral presentations and posters attended by more than 100 participants.

The event began with a report from the chairman of the committee and also the Coordinator of the Clinical Nutrition Specialist Study Program, dr. Agustinus I Wayan Harimawan, MPH., Sp.GK(K) and remarks from the President of APNNO Safarina G Malik, DVM, MS, PhD followed by remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes who also opened the event by beating the gong. Also accompanying the opening were the Coordinator of the Doctoral Study Program in Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Jawi, M.Kes., Head of the Department of Biochemistry, Dr. dr. Desak Made Wihandani, M.Kes., and Head of the Department of Clinical Nutrition, FK Unud/Prof. Ngoerah Hospital, dr. Ni Ketut Sumartini, Sp.GK.
