61st SANGLAH Hospital Anniversary Competition
Since it was inaugurated by Ir. Soekarno on December 30, 1959, Sanglah Hospital Denpasar has developed into a hospital that plays an important role in service and education in the health sector. In its development, Sanglah Hospital has undergone several status changes until it was designated as a Type A Teaching Hospital in 2005. With its status as a Type A Hospital, Sanglah Hospital not only serves the community on the island of Bali but also becomes a referral hospital for neighboring provinces, namely NTB and NTT.
On December 30, 2020, Sanglah Hospital will celebrate its 61st Birthday, marking a long journey in the spirit of serving that never goes out. On November 13, 2020 Pkl. 07.00 the opening ceremony of the 61st anniversary of Sanglah Hospital Denpasar was held at the Cempaka Parking Lot. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the celebration of the 61st Anniversary of Sanglah Hospital with the theme entitled "Synergy to Face the Pandemic for the Country".
The opening ceremony was opened with a ceremonial event for the 61st anniversary of Sanglah Hospital, which began with remarks from the Chairman of the Committee, dr. I Komang Arimbawa, Sp.S (K) and the President Director of Sanglah Hospital, dr. I Wayan Sudana, M. Kes., The event was also attended by the Board of Directors, Head of Division and Head of Sanglah Hospital, Dean of Medical Faculty Udayana University, as well as representatives of the Department of Neurology, Faculty of Medicine Udayana University/Sanglah Hospital. The release of the balloons inaugurated the series of activities for the 61st anniversary of Sanglah Hospital this year and the event was closed with joint gymnastics. Most of the events and competitions will be held online by inviting the participation of all residents of Sanglah Hospital, so that the 61st anniversary of Sanglah Hospital will still be felt by all residents of Sanglah Hospital.
The events that are arranged start from education and updates on special knowledge about COVID-19 through a series of webinars. Various kinds of competitions such as; E-posters, online chess, room cleaning competitions, gebongan, short videos, karaoke, banners, Dharmagita and Dharmawacana. In addition to competitions and webinars, there are also social activities such as: Blood Donation and Sharing to Orphanages & Wredhas. During the current pandemic, a series of activities are held online.
The 61st Sanglah Anniversary event will be closed on December 30, 2020 at 07.15 WITA in the round parking lot of Sanglah Hospital. The event can be watched online via live Instagram. The event was also followed by the announcement of the winner of the 61st Sanglah Anniversary competition, the appearance of an acoustic band by the committee, and an online candle blowing event with all agency representatives.
