This webinar is a collaboration between the Department of Pharmacology and Therapy and the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine supported by various professional organizations. The webinar was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suyasa, Sp.B., Sp.OT., (K) Unud and was attended by 475 participants via Webex and Youtube. This second series focuses on the regulatory and safety aspects of alcohol inhalation therapy and the ethical aspects of drug innovation research related to COVID-19. The take home messages from this second series are that traditional medicine is very likely to be modernized but it must be clearly stated its position according to the applicable regulations as herbal medicine, standardized herbal medicine or phytopharmaca. Traditional medicines that have received permission from BPOM must also be ensured that when advertising and distributing them comply with the provisions of BPOM. It is very important not to "over claim" this traditional medicine without any evidence of safety and efficacy that meets the ethical rules of health research.
