Audience for the Actualization of Cooperation between the Bali Sehat Primary Clinic in Karangasem and the Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University

Through various programs that provide tangible benefits to the community, particularly in East Bali, while also supporting the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education, the Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University received an audience from the Bali Sehat Primary Clinic, located in Culik Village, Abang District, Karangasem Regency. This audience focused on actualizing collaboration in the areas of Community Service, specifically the Cervical and Breast Cancer Screening and Early Detection Program, the Bali Sehat Foundation Scholarship Program for High-Achieving Young Generations, and Strengthening Physiotherapy Human Resources and Services. The event took place in the Dean's Meeting Room, Faculty of Medicine Building, Udayana University, Denpasar. (July 23, 2026)

The delegation from the Bali Sehat Primary Clinic was led by the Director of the Bali Sehat Primary Clinic, Dr. Lanang Krishna Angga Kusuma, S.Ked., and staff. They were received by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, S.Ked., MPH., Ph.D., accompanied by the Coordinator of the Information Management and Cooperation Unit, the Coordinator of the Research and Community Service Unit, the Coordinator of the Anatomic Pathology Specialist Study Program, representatives from the Radiology Specialist Study Program, representatives from the Surgery Specialist Study Program, representatives from the Undergraduate Medical Study Program, the Coordinator of the Physiotherapy Professional Study Program, and the Sub-Coordinator for Student Affairs and Alumni of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

In his remarks, Prof. Ady expressed his gratitude to the Bali Sehat Primary Clinic for entrusting the Faculty of Medicine as a collaborative partner in the field of Community Service, specifically the Cervical and Breast Cancer Screening and Early Detection Program, the Bali Sehat Foundation Scholarship Program for High-Achieving Young Generation, and the Strengthening of Physiotherapy Human Resources Services and Development. He expressed his hope that this collaboration will improve public health, particularly in Culik Village, Abang District, Karangasem Regency.

The Bali Sehat Primary Clinic and the Bali Sehat Foundation express their highest appreciation to the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University for their commitment and contribution to improving the quality of medical education, research, and healthcare services for the Balinese people. The Bali Sehat Primary Clinic and the Bali Sehat Foundation believe that current public health challenges require close collaboration between healthcare institutions and educational institutions.

The event continued with an interactive discussion on plans to actualize this collaboration.
