Audience with Bali Police Chief

In order to strengthen the synergy between Higher Education Institutions with the Police and the Regional Government, the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held an audience with the Bali Police together with the Bali Region IDI and the Bali Provincial Health Office.
Bali Police Chief Inspector General. Pol. Dr. Drs. Petrus Reinhard Golose, MM, accompanied by the Head of the Bali Regional Police, Kombes Pol dr. N. Edy, SpF, Karumkit Bhayangkara. Dr. Made Murtini, MARS and Head of Bali Police Headquarters Kombes Pol Syamsi directly welcomed the arrival of the group which on this occasion was attended by the Dean of Medical Faculty Unud Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB., SpOT(K), Head of IDI Bali Region dr. Gede Putra Suteja, and Secretary of the Bali Provincial Health Office I Made Suwitra, SKM, M.Sc.
As is known, the number of positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bali Province continues to decline. This is inseparable from the role of the National Police and related institutions in carrying out the enforcement of Operation Justice. The Bali Police Chief said the operation was an effort to educate the public to get used to wearing masks and enforce the discipline of health protocols.
The entire series of the 2020 Pilkada must implement health protocols so that the health and safety of the public and officers can be guaranteed.
The Dean of FK Unud, Prof. Suyasa on this occasion said "this visit is a form of collaboration between the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University and the Bali Police to ensure public health, especially ahead of the 2020 Pilkada during the COVID-19 pandemic," he said.
Furthermore, he also expressed his appreciation to the Bali Police and their ranks for their performance in the health sector together with stakeholders in Bali and this appreciation was conveyed to coincide with National Health Day which falls on November 12, 2020.
The Bali Police Chief warmly welcomes this activity and hopes that in the future he can continue to work together to unite his determination to ensure health so that he can oversee the 2020 Pilkada safely, smoothly and with discipline towards health protocols.
This hearing also discussed the collaboration between the Bali Police and the Unud Medical Faculty regarding medical devices as well as consultation on the establishment of a PCR Lab and clinical pathology. So that Bhayangkara Hospital can be more optimal and optimal in supporting health services, especially related to the service of patients indicated by Covid-19.
