Basic Training of Cancer Care Student Community (KOMPAK)

The Cancer Care Student Community (Kompak) FK Unud held a Basic Training (Latdas) to welcome its prospective members this year online. This activity took the theme “conquer the boundaries, work up cancer prevention” which aims to prepare students for life in Kompak later, and the beginning of regeneration.

This Latdas was attended and at the same time opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes. He advised students to increase their potential especially in cancer prevention in Bali in particular and Indonesia in general. He appreciates Kompak's efforts and hopes that in the future, Compact can be at the forefront of cancer treatment.

This event was also attended by all Kompak Trustees Prof. Dr. dr.Ida Bagus Tjakra Wibawa Manuaba, MPH., Sp.B(K) Onk, FinaCS, Dr. dr. I Wayan Sudarsa, Sp.B (K) Onk, and dr. Putu Anda Tusta Adiputra, Sp.B(K) Onk. Representatives of the BEM FK UNUD, Bryan Gervais de Liyis and the Head of Kompak Dwi Kukuh Prayitno.

On day-1 of this latdas, several speakers presented presentations including:

1. Unites Our Vision Compact Material, given by the Head of Kompak Dwi Kukuh Prayitno

2. General Cancer Material by the supervisor himself, Prof. Dr. dr.Ida Bagus Tjakra Wibawa Manuaba, MPH., Sp.B(K)Onk,FinaCS

3. Public Education Materials and IEC by dr. NI GAA Manik Yuniawaty Wetan, Sp.B(K) Onk

The activity took place in an orderly manner and ended with an evaluation of the activities by the Core Latdas Kompak 2021.
