Blood Donor and Convalescent Plasma Donor 59th Anniversary of BKFK

In a series of celebrations for the 59th Anniversary of BKFK, the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University together with the Bali Police, the Bali Provincial Health Service and the Indonesian Doctors Association for the Bali Region held Routine Blood Donors and Convalescent Plasma Donors at the Cakra Vidya Usadha Building, Sudirman Campus Denpasar.
This activity was attended directly by the Bali Police Chief Inspector General Pol Drs. Putu Jayaan Danu Putra, SH, M.Si and his staff, Kadinkes Prov.Bali dr. Ketut Suarjaya, MPPM., Head of IDI Bali Region dr. Gede Putra Suteja, Chancellor of Unud Prof.Dr.dr. AA Raka Sudewi, SpS(K)., Chair of the Senate of Unud Prof.Dr.Ir. Dewa Ngurah Suprapta, M.Sc., Chair of the Senate of FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. Made Wiryana, Sp.An.KIC.,KAO., Dean of FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB., SpOT(K) along with the Vice Deans, Heads of Departments, and Study Program Coordinators at FK Unud.
The enthusiasm of the community and members of the police in participating in this event was reflected in the number of donor participants who reached 120 donors, of which 34 people donated Convalescent Plasma to support the Covid-19 response in the Bali Region.
In his speech, the Dean of FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB., SpOT(K) said "The synergy of academics, police, bureaucracy, and professions is our common strength, especially in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. We from the campus will continue to synergize with anyone, because collaboration is the key. in the problems of the nation that we face, not only health problems, but social problems.
This collaboration is important because this is what can give us strength in dealing with Covid-19," he said in his speech.
Bali Police Chief Inspector General Pol Drs Putu Jayan Danu Putra in his speech said "Happy 59th birthday BKFK hopefully later it will grow to be a contributing part to the Province of Bali, make the Balinese people healthy, and we will rise from Covid-19 together."
“In the framework of the series of activities of the 59th BKFK FK Unud, which includes the implementation of blood donation and TPK, we should support this. This activity is very helpful in efforts to overcome the covid in the province of Bali. This activity is the sensitivity of Udayana University Medical Faculty in the context of tackling COVID-19," he concluded, which also marked the opening of the Routine Blood Donor and Convalescent Plasma Donor events.
This activity is carried out in 2 periods, namely February 14 and 21, 2021, it is hoped that this activity will be able to help meet the needs of Convalescent Blood and Plasma in the Province of Bali.
