The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, successfully organized CALENDAR (Medical Seminar and Fun Run) 2026, themed "Where Nutrition Meets Movement and Health Becomes a Way of Life." The event was held in a hybrid format on Saturday, July 25, 2026, with the main venue at the Dr. A. A. Made Djelantik Meeting Room (4th Floor, Faculty of Medicine Building, Udayana University, Denpasar) and an online component via Zoom. The series of activities continued with a 5K Fun Run on Sunday, July 26, 2026, serving as a practical application of a healthy lifestyle through physical activity.

The event began with opening remarks and an official inauguration by the Faculty of Medicine BEM Advisor, Dr. I Gusti Ayu Indah Ardani, Sp.KJ (K), alongside the Faculty of Medicine BEM Chairperson, Flezia Chandra Tarigan, who symbolically opened the CALENDAR 2026 series. In her remarks, Dr. Indah noted that adopting a good diet and engaging in regular physical activity are complementary aspects of maintaining health. Through CALENDAR 2026, participants were expected to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the importance of making nutrition and exercise integral parts of their daily lives.

The 5K Fun Run was also attended by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, S.Ked., MPH, Ph.D., who officially performed the flag-off ceremony to start the run. As soon as the flag was waved, hundreds of participants—who had crowded the starting area since dawn—set off with great enthusiasm. The flag-off not only marked the start of the event but also ignited a spirit of togetherness and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle within the campus community. The CALENDAR 2026 National Seminar featured three expert speakers: Dr. dr. Made Ratna Saraswati, Sp.PD-KEMD, FINASIM, MARS, who presented on "Early Cardiometabolic Risk in Young Adults: Bridging Nutrition and Physical Activity"; Dr. dr. The CALENDAR 2026 program continued with a 5K Fun Run, attracting hundreds of participants from both the student body and the general public. This activity served as a tangible application of the values shared during the seminar, encouraging participants to make physical activity a regular part of a healthy lifestyle. Beyond providing a shared exercise experience, the Fun Run fostered a sense of community and raised public awareness regarding the importance of maintaining health through regular physical activity.

By combining the National Seminar and the 5K Fun Run, CALENDAR 2026 not only educated participants on the importance of nutrition and physical activity but also encouraged them to actively incorporate these habits into their daily lives. The event aims to inspire students and the wider community to adopt a healthier, more active, and sustainable lifestyle, in line with the theme: "Where Nutrition Meets Movement and Health Become a Way of Life."
