Celebrating the 62nd BKFK, FK Unud Holds a Guess Lecture on Sepsis in Children


In order to enliven the 62nd BKFK (Medical Faculty Family Agency), the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, through the Child Health Science Specialist Study Program, held a Guest Lecturer activity with the theme Sepsis in Children.


This Guest Lecturer activity is a collaboration between Udayana University and Cornell University. This guest lecture presented speakers from Cornell University, Bruce M Greenwald, M.D., who is Chief of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, Executive Vice-Chair for Operations for the Department of Pediatrics, and Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine.


This guest lecture also presented a resource person from Udayana University, namely Dyah Kanya Wati, M.D., who is an Associate Professor at the Child Health Specialist Study Program, Udayana Medical Faculty. The activity was guided by Siska Permanasari Sinardja, M.D., as moderator.


The Guest Lecturer was held online via zoom meetings on Thursday, March 21 2024 with 3 material sessions provided, namely Current Update in Pediatric Sepsis, Pediatric Sepsis in Limited Sources Perspective and Case Report of Pediatric Sepsis in Bali. This event was attended by 110 academics, staff from the Child Health Science Specialist Study Program and participants from Cornell University.
