Dean of FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB., SpOT(K) and the President Director of Sanglah Hospital, dr. I Wayan Sudana, M.Kes., Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. AA Wiradewi Lestari, S.Ked., SpPK(K) and the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Faculty of Medicine, Unud Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes attended the cremation ceremony as well as the release of the late. Prof. dr. I Ketut Buddha, SpB-KBD in the setra of Banjar Pande Mas, Kuta.

Prof. I Ketut Buddha passed away at Sanglah Hospital on March 7, 2021 at the age of 78 years.

He started his career in 1968, Prof. I Ketut Buddha entered as a surgical assistant at the Department of Surgery, FK Unud/Sanglah Hospital.

During his lifetime, he was active in various organizations including IDI Member, IKABI Member, IKABDI Member and PBEI Member. He also served as Head of the Surgery Department (1980-2002) and Head of IKABI Bali Branch in 1984.

At the 1984 Conference of Indonesian Surgeons (MABI) in Ujungpandang, Prof. I Ketut Buddha received a Certificate of Expertise as a consultant for digestive surgery from IKBDI signed by Prof. dr. Syamsu Hidayat and in 1995 he received the title of Professor in Surgery.
