Collaboration between FK UNUD Surgical Specialist Study Program and RSUD Komodo, West Manggarai

The Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University (FK Unud) fulfilled the invitation from Komodo Hospital, West Manggarai to see firsthand the hospital's readiness to accept independent senior residents of the FK UNUD Surgical Specialist Study Program. Visitation of RSUD Komodo was held on May 15-18, 2025 as well as the signing of the addendum to the cooperation agreement. The Director of Komodo Hospital, Dr. Maria Y. Melinda Gampar and her team directly received the arrival of the FK Unud visitation team and in his speech, he expressed his gratitude for the willingness of the FK Unud team to build cooperation to improve health services at Komodo Hospital, West Manggarai, especially by sending independent senior residents.

The FK Unud visitation team was led by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information of FK Unud, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH, Ph.D., Ngoerah Hospital Commander, Dr. dr. I Gusti Putu Suka Aryana, Sp. PD, K-Ger, FINASIM, who was accompanied by a representative of the cooperation of the Surgical Science Specialist Study Program, dr. Putu Astri Novianti, M.Biomed, Sp.B, FICS.
