Collaboration between the Internal Medicine Specialist Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, and Kubu Pratama Hospital, Karangasem.
The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud), accepted an invitation from Kubu Pratama Hospital, Karangasem, to observe the hospital's readiness to accept independent senior residents from the Internal Medicine Specialist Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. The visit took place on August 26, 2025, and also included the signing of the Cooperation Agreement.
The Head of the Karangasem Regency Health Office, Dr. I Gusti Bagus Putra Pertama, M.M., and the Director of Kubu Pratama Hospital (Dr. Kadek Ari Arthati Semarini, MM), welcomed the visitation team. In his remarks, the Head of the Health Office expressed his gratitude for the FK Unud team's willingness to collaborate to improve healthcare services at Kubu Pratama Hospital, Karangasem, particularly with the deployment of independent senior residents.
The Director of Kubu Pratama Hospital expressed his hope that more specialist study programs would be able to support healthcare services in the future, following the completion of the hospital's infrastructure. Thus, Pratama Kubu Hospital can improve its accreditation.
The visitation team from the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) was led by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D.; the Coordinator of Prof. Ngoerah General Hospital, Dr. Dr. Pande Dwipayana, Sp.PD, KEMD.; the Coordinator of the Information Management and Cooperation Unit, Dr. Dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, M.Kes., accompanied by a representative from the Internal Medicine Specialist Study Program, Dr. I Made Siswadi Semadi, SpPD-KEMD.
