Collaboration of FK Unud and Bali Provincial Health Office Conducting NCD Early Detection Screening in Rendang District, Karangasem Regency 2024


In an effort to increase the achievement of early detection of priority non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and optimize the use of the Healthy Indonesiaku Application (ASIK), FK Unud collaborated with the Bali Provincial Health Office in community service activities at the Rendang Health Center, Karangasem Regency. This activity aims to increase public understanding of the importance of early detection of priority NCDs, increase the achievement of early detection of priority NCDs according to age groups through the healthy Indonesiaku application, and make this activity a role model for similar activities elsewhere.

The involvement of 15 FK Unud Bachelor of Public Health students went directly to the community with the Bali Provincial Health Office. This series of activities began with an online meeting on September 10, 2024 to discuss the activity plan facilitated by the Karangasem Health Office.

The next series on September 13, 2024 was the implementation of early detection activities in Rendang District, Karangasem Regency. The data input process to the ASIK Application was also carried out, and ended with monitoring and evaluation of the results of the activity as material for correction and input for other similar activities.
