Community Service: Managing Stress with Hypnosis for people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic

PSSIKPN carries out Community Service “Managing Stress with Hypnosis for people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in Paksebali Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency. This activity was held on Sunday, July 18, 2021 online using the Zoom Meeting media. This activity is part of the implementation of the Udayana University PNBP Serving Funds grant in 2021 which is chaired by Ns. Ni Putu Emy Darma Yanti., S.Kep., M.Kep. The form of service activities is in the form of health counseling on how to manage stress with hypnosis, followed by a self-hypnosis simulation which is immediately followed by all service participants. This activity was carried out with the aim of providing solutions for people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in Paksebali Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency so that they were able to manage the stress they felt independently. The resource persons in the service activities are Ns. I Putu Ditya Prayanto, S.Kep., CBW., CHt. who is a practitioner in the field of Hypnosis who is also a nurse at the Kediri II Health Center Tabanan. This activity was opened by the Head of Paksebali Village, Mr. I Putu Ariadi, ST., SH. and attended by 75 service participants who are Paksebali Village people from various age groups. In addition, this service activity was also attended by the Coordinator and lecturer staff of the Undergraduate Nursing and Nursing Profession Program of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University and students of the XXIII Real Work Lecture (KKN) of Udayana University in Paksebali Village. The health education activity took place smoothly for approximately 3 hours. Participants seemed to listen to the material presented well and participated in the simulation enthusiastically. Several interesting questions were asked by the service participants and became a very useful discussion topic for other service participants as well. After the health counseling activity, masks and hand sanitizer were given to all service participants which were delivered directly by KKN students. Mr. Paksebali Village Head and the community hope that this community service activity can be continued by bringing speakers directly to the village, not only providing material online because the material presented is felt to be very interesting and needs to be done in several meetings.
