Convalescent Plasma Therapy Donor Implementation Visit

In order to support the program initiated by the Dean of Medical Faculty Unud, Head of the Bali Provincial Health Office and Head of UTD PMI Bali Province to use Convalescent Plasma Therapy (TPK), today (16/7) Dean of Medical Faculty Unud Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB., SpOT (K), accompanied by the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance Prof.Dr.dr. AA Wiradewi Lestari, S.Ked., SpPK visited UTD PMI Bali Province to monitor the donor process for the first TPK in Bali, which was taken from one of the Specialist Study Program students who had recovered from Covid-19.
On this occasion, the Dean of FK Unud, Prof. I Ketut Suyasa said that the implementation of TPK at UNUD Hospital had been carried out 5 times using plasma obtained from the RSPAD. He also expressed his gratitude to the President Director of Sanglah Hospital, the Head of UTD PMI Bali Province and the Chairman of PERSI for their support and assistance in collaborating to make the Convalescent Plasma Therapy Program a success in Bali.
In addition to being attended by the Dean of the Unud Medical Faculty, this activity was also attended by the Head of the Bali Province Health Service, the President Director of Sanglah Hospital, the Director of Medical and Nursing at Sanglah Hospital, the Head of UTD PMI Bali Province, and the Chairman of PERSI Wil.Bali.
