Curriculum Workshop and Monitoring Evaluation of Orthopaedic & Traumatology Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University


In order to improve the quality of the education process and the quality of graduates, the Orthopaedic & Traumatology Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) held a Curriculum Workshop and Monitoring Evaluation at the Bali Sunset Road Convention Center (8/3/2025). This activity aims to evaluate and develop a curriculum that is in accordance with the latest medical education standards, in order to produce competent graduates who are able to face challenges in the fields of orthopaedics and traumatology.


The event began with remarks from the Orthopaedic & Traumatology Specialist Study Program Coordinator, Dr. dr. I Gusti Ngurah Wien Aryana, Sp.OT (K) and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M. Kes. In his remarks, Prof. Januartha emphasized the importance of adaptive curriculum updates based on community needs and the development of medical science. He also appreciated the collaboration between academics and practitioners in ensuring that the quality of education is maintained and relevant to advances in medical technology. This workshop is expected to be a strategic step in improving the quality of learning and strengthening the monitoring and evaluation system in the Orthopedics & Traumatology Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.


After the speech, the event continued with a presentation of material by Dr. dr. I Wayan Subawa, Sp.OT (K) which was a finding of the Internal Quality Audit (AMI). This event was also attended by representatives from the Network Hospital, Udayana University Hospital., Vice Dean for Academic and Planning, FK Unud, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya Sp. OT (K), Coordinator of the Development, Learning, and Quality Assurance Unit (UP3M) dr. I Made Winarsa Ruma, Ph.D., Professors, Lecturers, education staff, and specialist and resident doctors.
