Developing an Elective Study Program for Foreign Students, FK Unud Collaborates with Bangli Hospital as an Educational Vehicle

In connection with the existence of an elective program for foreign students at FK Unud who need Bangli Regional Hospital as a vehicle for education, the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, FK Unud, Prof. Dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., along with the FK Unud Information Management and Cooperation Unit (UPIKS) team carried out a coordination visit for the implementation of the elective study to Bangli Regional Hospital. The main agenda for this meeting was to review the facilities and infrastructure owned by Bangli Regional Hospital as well as a technical discussion of the implementation of studies for foreign students while at Bangli Regional Hospital along with the administrative equipment that must be prepared.

The arrival of the Unud FK Team was welcomed directly by the Director of Bangli Regional Hospital, Dr. I Dewa Gede Oka Darsana, Sp.An., along with the ranks of Deputy Directors. On this occasion Prof. Ady said that the arrival of the team from FK Unud to the network hospital was to support foreign students in getting the appropriate number of cases and learning.

"The hope is that the requests from foreign students can be fulfilled at Bangli Hospital, hopefully here foreign students from FK Unud will get the cases and learning as expected." he said.

On this occasion, dr. Oka Darsana as Main Director of RSUD Bangli expressed his appreciation and thanks to FK Unud for entrusting RSUD Bangli as an educational vehicle for the elective study program.

"Thank you for the trust given to Bangli Hospital, our hope is that Bangli Hospital can also become an educational vehicle for boarding doctors and residents from FK Unud," he said.

After the meeting, the team from FK Unud was accompanied by the Deputy Director of Services at Bangli Regional Hospital, Dr. I Made Naris Pujawan., Sp.PA., paid a visit to see the facilities and infrastructure owned by Bangli Regional Hospital to support the implementation of this elective study program. This meeting was also attended by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Medical Study Program, Dr. I Wayan Sumardika, S.Ked., M.Med.Ed., Ph.D., Coordinator of the Medical Professional Study Program, Dr.dr. I Wayan Eka Sutyawan, Sp.M(K), Education Coordinator Team (Kordik) and Medical Committee of Bangli Regional Hospital, as well as Director of PT Griya Lumbung Sari, Ida Ayu Putri Ratna Dewi as Foreign Student Consultant Agent.
