Discussion Related to International Accreditation Preparation, FK Unud Welcomes the Arrival of the Team from FK Unmul

The Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University (FK Unud) received a visit from the Faculty of Medicine of Mulawarman University (FK Unmul) in the context of a comparative study related to international accreditation. Led by Dean Dr. dr. Ika Fikriah, M. Kes, the team from FK Unmul was received directly by the Dean of FK Unud, Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., at the Prof. dr. I Ngoesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah meeting room, FK Unud Building, Denpasar. (26/8/2024)

 

The main agenda of the FK Unmul comparative study visit was to share information related to preparations for international accreditation at the Faculty of Medicine, Mulawarman University, East Kalimantan. Starting the visit, Prof. Januartha as the Dean of FK Unmul in his speech expressed his appreciation to the team from FK Unmul for choosing FK Unmul as a comparative study site because FK Unmul is currently accredited by AUN-QA. Furthermore, Prof. Januartha also conveyed the importance of international accreditation for institutions.
"International accreditation must indeed be implemented to improve recognition at the international level as well as the demands of the IKU (Key Performance Indicators). With this comparative study, we hope to be able to oversee each agency in the future to be better, "he said.

In welcoming this visit, from FK Unud also attended including the Deputy Dean for General and Financial Affairs Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes., Coordinator of the Development, Learning and Quality Assurance Unit (UP3M) dr. I Made Winarsa Ruma, Ph.D., Representative of the Undergraduate Medical Coordinator dr. I Gde Haryo Ganesha, M.Biomed.

After remarks from the Dean, the event continued with a discussion session on preparations related to international accreditation and closed with an exchange of souvenirs between institutions.
