Doctor of Medicine Study Program Holds Guest Lecture Related to Telomere as Target Therapy for Old Age Disease


In order to improve the competence and knowledge of students and lecturers regarding therapy for age-related diseases, the Doctor of Medical Sciences Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK UNUD) held a Guest Lecture which took place in the 3rd floor Hall, Postgraduate Building, Udayana University. Presenting Prof. Eric Gilson, from the Faculty of Medicine of Nice, France, this guest lecture raised the topic "Telomeres as targets for therapies against age-related disease".

Attended by doctoral students and lecturers, the event was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH, Ph.D. In this guest lecture, the problems of age-related diseases and the use of Telomere as a therapeutic target were presented.


This Guest Lecture is expected to be a place to exchange knowledge in overcoming the problems of age-related diseases and increase the knowledge and competence of students and lecturers in the Doctor of Medicine Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
