East Sumba Regency Government and Unud Medical Faculty Examine Cooperation in Supporting Health Services

Following up on the collaboration between Udayana University and the East Sumba Regency Government, the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning at the Faculty of Medicine, Unud, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K) accompanied by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D welcomed a visit from the East Sumba Regency Government at the Prof. Meeting Room. dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah, FK Building, Sudirman. (Monday, 11/7/2022)

The group visit led by the Head of Bappeda of East Sumba Regency, Yacobus Yiwa, SH., was aimed at exploring cooperation with the East Sumba Regional Hospital regarding the delivery of independent residents including the ENT-KL Health Science Specialist Study Program and the Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy Specialist Study Program.

In addition, this meeting also discussed the acceptance of PPDS Candidates from the sons of the region.

In his Welcome Dr. Eka Wiratnaya expressed his gratitude to the East Sumba government for entrusting FK Unud as a cooperation partner and stated that FK Unud was very open to collaborating with Regional Hospitals.

"FK Unud really needs hospitals in the area as a vehicle for carrying out independent education activities and we are very open to regional hospitals if needed other than Anestasia and ENT-KL residents, we are ready to help dispatch senior residents." he insisted.

Also attending this meeting were the Head of Planning, Control and Evaluation of Development in East Sumba Regency, Yermias Gaja Wande, SP., MAP., along with the team, and the Coordinator of UPIKS FK Unud, Dr. dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, S.Ked., M.Kes, along with representatives from related specialist study programs
