Establishing Bilateral International Relations, BEM FK Unud Welcomes Anjangsana MEHSSCO UPM Malaysia

Supporting the internationalization of the institution, the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (BEM FK Unud) welcomed a visit from the Medical Health Sciences Student Council (MEHSSCO) University Putra Malaysia (UPM) at Dr. A A. Made Djelantik, FK Unud Building, Denpasar. (4/3/2024)

The aim of holding this event is to improve bilateral relations between student organizations and hone the leadership skills of organizational members in establishing international relations. On this occasion MEHSSCO UPM will also organize a community service program in Bali which will be collaborated with BEM FK Unud.

The arrival of MEHSSCO UPM accompanied by Dr. Sharuddin Bin Mohd Sham and Ms. Tay Ker San as President of MEHSSCO was welcomed by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, FK Unud, Prof. Dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., and Bonifasius Alvianto Satria Pamungkas as Chair of BEM FK Unud.

In his speech, Prof. Ady briefly explained the profile of FK Unud and hoped that this event would be the start of an international collaboration program between FK Unud and UPM, as well as between student organizations at both institutions.

"We hope that this meeting can increase collaboration between institutions and between student organizations, and hopefully this will be the beginning for further international collaboration." he said.

After being officially opened, the event continued with a brief explanation of Balinese culture, the profile and program of BEM FK Unud, the profile of the undergraduate study program and ended with a discussion session.
