Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University Receives a Visit from the Ministry of Health, Directorate General of Health Personnel, Denpasar Health Polytechnic and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)
The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University received an audience visit from the Ministry of Health, Directorate General of Health Personnel, Denpasar Health Polytechnic and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) which took place in the Dean's Meeting Room on Wednesday, February 21 2024. The purpose of this visit was to conduct a survey regarding the Japan Mission for Caregiver Program to develop a program to increase care worker competency for the elderly in Indonesia.
This visit was received by the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes., who was accompanied by the Head of the Nursing Department, Dr. NS. Ika Widi Astuti, M.Kep., Sp.Kep.Mat., Coordinator of the Information Management and Cooperation Unit, Dr. Dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, S.Ked, M.Kes., Gerontic Nursing lecturer, Dr. NS. Putu Ayu Sani Utami, M.Kep., Sp.Kep.Kom., along with Nursing Study Program staff, Ns. Putu Ayu Emmy Savitri Karin, S.Kep., MNS.
In his speech, Dr. Sudarmaja expressed his gratitude for visiting the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, and FK Unud is very supportive in developing human resources (HR) to support increasing the competency of elderly care workers in Indonesia.
The event continued with a discussion regarding related things that FK Unud could do to support increasing the competency of care workers to support programs from the Ministry and JICA.
