Field Assessment of Re-Accreditation of Undergraduate Nursing Study Program and Nursing Professional Education, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University
The Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Health Education (LAM-PTKes) conducted a field assessment in the context of re-accreditation of the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program and Nursing Professional Education, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. This re-accreditation was carried out to maintain and improve the quality of education and services at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
Officially opened in the Dr. A A Made Djelantik meeting room, FK Unud-Denpasar Building, the field assessment by LAM-PTKes was held for 3 days on 13-15 February 2025 and assessed by 3 assessors, namely:
1. Rina Nur Hidayati, S.Kep. Ns. M.Kep. Sp.Kep.Kom (STIKES Bina Sehat PPNI Mojokerto / Assessor 1)
2. Dr. Wahyu Hidayati, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.KMB (Diponegoro University / Assessor 2)
3. Dr. Joni Haryanto S.Kp., M.Si (Airlangga University / Assessor 3)
The opening ceremony began with remarks by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., and the Chancellor of Udayana University, Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, S.T., Ph.D., who also officially opened the event. On this occasion, Prof. Januartha said that the accreditation process is a mandate that must be carried out by all educational institutions as a form of implementation from the quality assurance side, the presence of external parties aims to ensure that all tri dharma processes carried out are in accordance with regulations and rules and standards.
"We really hope that the assessors can provide us with an overview of the aspects that need improvement and enhancement in order to maintain the quality of our study program, because assessment by external parties will certainly be more objective and can provide input and recommendations to improve the quality of educational services provided by the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program and Nursing Professional Education in order to produce graduates who have competencies in accordance with the vision and mission of the study program." he said
Meanwhile, Prof. Sudarsana in his speech expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Assessor Team from LAM-PTKes for their willingness and dedication in conducting field assessments for the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program and Nursing Professional Education, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. Furthermore, the Chancellor said that the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program and Nursing Professional Education, Udayana University has committed to continuing to improve the quality of education, research, and community service in order to produce graduates who are competent, professional, and ready to contribute to the world of nursing both at the national and international levels.
"With the presence of the Assessor Team from LAM-PTKes, we hope that the assessors can provide input, evaluation, and constructive suggestions from the assessor team. We believe that this assessment is not just an assessment process, but also a valuable moment for Udayana University to reflect and carry out continuous improvement in an effort to maintain the quality of the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program and Professional Nursing Education at Udayana University." he said
After being officially opened, the event continued with a presentation by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program and Professional Nursing Education, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. Ns. Ni Ketut Guru Prapti, S.Kep., MNS, regarding the profile of the study program.
The opening ceremony of the re-accreditation was also attended by the Deputy Director of Human Resources, Education and Research of Prof. Ngoerah Ken Wirianti General Hospital, SE, MRM, President Director of Wangaya General Hospital, Head of South Kuta Health Center, President Director of Udayana University Hospital, KOMKORDIK of Udayana University Hospital, President Director of Udayana University Hospital's General Hospital, Head of Udayana University Hospital's General Hospital, Head of Udayana University Hospital's General Hospital, Head of LPPM, Head of LP3M, Head of USDI, Head of Library UPT, Head of FK Unud Senate, Deputy Deans of FK Unud, Coordinators of Undergraduate Study Programs of FK Unud, Coordinators of Units within the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University, as well as users of graduates and the entire Accreditation Task Force Team.
The assessment agenda for the 4 days is;
1. Meeting of the assessor team with the heads of study program management units and practice facilities.
2. Discussion of the assessor team with the heads of study program management units.
3. Interviews and assessments of lecturers who teach in the study program.
4. Interviews and assessments of the adequacy of educational staff regarding academic and non-academic services.
5. Interviews and assessments with alumni and students representing all students from each class regarding academic and non-academic services.
6. Visitation of the assessor team to the Main Teaching Hospital and Network Hospitals.
