FK Unud and West Papua Province Explore Cooperation to Increase Health Human Resources Capacity


The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) received a visit from West Papua Province in order to explore cooperation in the field of education and fulfillment of health workers in West Papua Province at the Dean's Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, FK Unud Building, Denpasar. (3/12/2024)


The team from West Papua Province led by Siti Sangadah, S.Far., Apt., MPH., was received by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information of FK Unud Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH, Ph.D., accompanied by the Coordinator of the Information Management and Cooperation Unit (UPIKS), Dr. dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, S.Ked., M.Kes.


In his remarks, Prof. Ady welcomed the planned cooperation in the field of Education and hoped that in the future the cooperation that was established could be expanded to all areas of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Furthermore, Prof. Ady stated the support of FK Unud to improve the health standards in West Papua Province.


The event continued with a discussion session to discuss the draft cooperation. At this meeting, the team from West Papua Province also invited the Head of the Sub-Division of Business/Private Cooperation at the Regional Autonomy Government Bureau of the Regional Secretariat, Yanti Rumatora, S.STP, M.Sc., and Nofiska Rumabar, SKM, M.Kes.
