FK Unud Collaborates with IDI Denpasar to Distribute 11,300 Masks

The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University collaborated with IDI Denpasar Branch and the Ugracena Student Regiment to simultaneously distribute masks to market traders. The distribution of masks is targeted to be carried out for traders at Sanglah Market, Badung Market, Wangaya Market, and Kreneng Market.

The distribution of masks is targeted at market traders, because the market is the center of the community's economy that allows contact with many people. The masks distributed were approximately 11,300 pieces.

Given the high number of Covid-19 cases, health protocols are important to do. Therefore, FK Unud together with IDI Denpasar Branch and the Ugracena Student Regiment carried out the distribution of masks as a form of education on health protocols to the public.

The Dean of FK Unud Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suyasa, Sp.B, Sp.OT (K) said that his party is not only tasked with serving patients in hospitals, but also plays a role in educating the public about the importance of health protocols.

The Dean added that efforts to suppress the spread of Covid-19 are not only the task of the government and the TNI/Polri. The community must also work together to help suppress the spread of Covid-19 with the discipline of health protocols.
