FK Unud Holds Guest Lecture Discussing Tuberculosis, Diabetes, and Indonesia's Local Potential: The First Step of Collaboration with Semarang State University


The Master of Public Health Science Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) held a guest lecture on the topic "Tuberculosis, Diabetes Mellitus and Local Potential in Indonesia" which took place in the Prof. dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah Room, FK Unud Building Denpasar. (1/11/2024)


Followed by participants from among Master of Public Health Science students, undergraduate students of Public Health Science and lecturers in the Master of Public Health Science Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University and moderated by Prof. Dr. dr. I Wayan Weta, MS, Sp.GK., this seminar presented two (2) speakers, namely:


1. dr. RR. Sri Ratna Rahayu, M.Kes., Ph.D. as the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Medicine, Semarang State University who presented the material Tuberculosis & Its Control Efforts in Indonesia.


2. Prof. Dr. dr. Oktia Woro Kasmini H, M.Kes. as the Coordinator of the Postgraduate Public Health Doctoral Study Program at Semarang State University who presented material on Sustainable Research for Preventive Diabetes Mellitus.


Also attended by the Coordinator of the Bachelor of Public Health Study Program, Dr. Putu Ayu Swandewi Astuti, S.Ked., MPH., Ph.D., this event was opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning of FK Unud, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp OT (K) who in his remarks expressed his appreciation to the organizing committee and the speakers who were pleased to be present to share their knowledge with students at FK Unud. Dr. Eka also expressed his hope that this activity could be the first step for other collaborations such as exchanging lecturers and undergoing cooperation in the field of Tridharma of higher education between FK Unud and the Faculty of Medicine, Semarang State University.
